LYRIC OF THE ISLES is an Irish Draught Sport Horse (IDSH) stallion by O’Leary’s Irish Diamond. We are proud to say Lyric is another one of our own homebred and raised foals. He was foaled May 7th, 2002 and currently stands 16.1H. He is a beautiful floating mover with exquisite conformation. We are very pleased with this colt and feel he will bring the desirable Irish Draught Horse temperament and athletic ability into our breeding program. He is out of Endless Chatter whose bloodlines include such great horses as Nasrullah, Nearco, Native Dancer, and Hyperion.

As horse enthusiasts, we traveled to other hunts and have been to many horse shows and seen all types of sporthorse prospects. We decided upon the IDSH because of their kind disposition and sturdy build. We chose to add O’Leary’s Irish Diamond’s bloodlines to our breeding program because he is a son of the famous IDH stallion King of Diamonds. Some of the most famous and competitive sporthorses are of the bloodline combination: King of Diamonds and Nasrullah. Lyric has the best of both worlds: the wonderful temperament, expressive gaits, and beautiful substance of the Irish Draught Horse and the spark and athletic ability of his superb Thoroughbred heritage. Lyric is bred for success and lends the essence of this great promise to his future offspring.
